Social Media is such a huge part of life today. Unfortunately, using Social Media can be dangerous and hurtful if you have a Personal Injury case going on.
Hey everybody Andy here. I have an interesting topic today it has to do with social media. Yes, I do social media but so do my clients and the issue is when you are in a lawsuit situation you have to be really careful with social media.
The reason is that the opposing counsel will almost always ask to see their social media information that you put up there. You need to be careful about what you put up there. If I have a situation where I have a client that is really injured and then the client puts up a crazy video of them bungee jumping off of a bridge, that is going to potentially throw the case out the door. So, that is why you got to be real smart and careful about what you do and you do not put up there.
